What is Bimmex?

Is Bimmex a custodial service?

No, BiMMEX is a non-custodial Personal Bot Solution, meaning that your funds remain securely on your CEX (Centralized Exchange) while you are linked to Bimmex’s API. BiMMEX does not have the ability to withdraw from or deposit funds to your exchange accounts. You always retain full control over your assets through your CEX.

What is a CEX?

In crypto, a CEX is an online trading platform that allows people connected to the internet to buy, sell, and swap Digital assets. It is owned and operated by a private company, which means it is subject to the laws and regulations of every jurisdiction it operates in.

What is an API?

An Application Programming Interface (API) key is a code used to identify and authenticate an application or user. API keys are available through platforms, such as a white-labeled internal marketplace. They also act as a unique identifier and provide a secret token for authentication purposes.

Which Exchanges does BiMMEX support?

How do I get started with BiMMEX?

To begin using BiMMEX, you first need to verify your account on an approved CEX. This can be an existing account from BIMMEX’s accepted list of CEX’s. You will then need to link your account by generating API keys on the respective CEX and connect them to our BiMMEX service. Alternatively, if your chosen exchange offers the Fast Connect option, we recommend using it for faster integration and enhanced security.

What is IP whitelisting?

IP whitelisting is a type of security measure that is used to restrict unauthorized access to a system or network. This is done by whitelisting IP addresses. With the help of IP Whitelisting, CEX’s can offer access to tools and software on those specific IP addresses that they consider trustworthy. This process helps block unauthorized users. IP Whitelisting enhances security and positively affects your automated security and ensures that each IP address accessing your CEX is trustworthy and without any threats.
